We brought in key stakeholders from across the government and nonprofit sectors to discuss the state of the country's disaster readiness and to build capacity through collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Did you know that we hold monthly Disaster Operations and Preparedness Briefings with Prime Minister the Hon. Philip E. B. Davis?

In these meetings, we keep the Prime Minister updated on our progress with previously discussed action plans and projects.

This week's meeting highlighted our most recent accomplishments, including the completion of shelter inspections, Initial Damage Assessment Training in Abaco, and National Disaster Readiness Exercises.
