Labour Day is an opportunity to recognize the contributions of workers across The Bahamas and the important role they play in the growth and development of our nation.

We also acknowledge our labour partners and the trade union movement, whose advocacy and commitment have helped advance workers' rights, improve working conditions, and contribute meaningfully to the social and economic development of our country.

As we observe this national holiday, we celebrate the value and dignity of labour and extend our appreciation to all who continue to help build a stronger Bahamas.

Happy Labour Day from the National Insurance Board of The Bahamas.
