A powerful partnership for food security and community empowerment 🌱🇧🇸
The Agricultural Development Organization (ADO), with support from the Royal Caribbean Group Foundation, officially launched the Centreville Community Farm through a $75,000 investment aimed at increasing access to healthy, locally grown food for residents in need.

The initiative is part of ADO’s wider mission to establish community farms throughout The Bahamas, helping to reduce food insecurity, strengthen local food production, create jobs, and reconnect communities with agriculture. Produce grown at the farm will directly support residents while promoting healthier eating and long-term sustainability.

Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources Hon. Jomo Campbell also pledged a $15,000 donation toward the initiative and expressed gratitude for the partnership between ADO and Royal Caribbean, noting the importance of collaboration in building a stronger and more food-secure Bahamas.

The Ministry commends all partners involved for continuing to invest in initiatives that empower communities and support national development.
