PROLOGUES

The very purpose of the construction of the Chorten at the Gaeddu College of Business Studies is with the sole objective of benefiting the students and community at large. It is relative from the history that Gedu is found to have records of evil presences and the place has recorded several accidents and unnatural happenings. Therefore with the noble intention of suppressing and evading

the evil spirits and promoting the propaganda of Buddhism, the construction of a Chorten serves as an important avenue for the well being of the community and the sentient beings at large. The construction of the Chorten is a very powerful way to purify negative karma and obscurations, and to accumulate extensive merit. In this way we can achieve the realization towards the path of Enlightenment. We would be able to contribute in our humble ways to liberate sufferings, and promote happiness and peace. As Buddhist Citizen born in the precious Kingdom of Bhutan and being the followers of Dharma practice it is indeed a Karma and special privilege to be able to devote ourselves in such a noble deed of benefiting the sentient beings. This small looking initiative would in fact be a blessing for those benefiting from this noble endeavor. The Chorten stands out as a symbol for peace, prosperity and safety of the community, travelers and the preservation of Buddhist monuments. The construction of the Chorten is the voluntary effort and endeavor of students and therefore we would like to assure all our donors that the donations made would be exclusively used for the intended purpose. It is in fact considered a great merit on the part of donors to being able to contribute in whatever ways they can, not only does it brings prosperity to the individual but in fact help in promoting the religion and in the very achievement of Gross National Happiness (GNH) in the light of spiritual development. Therefore, we would like to welcome any form of financial and non-financial support from anyone willing to support us in this noble cause. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF CONSTRUCTING CHORTEN

1. To promote a spiritually conducive environment for the community.
2. To propagate secular development and strengthening the Dharma practice.
3. To instill a sense of voluntarism and engagement in noble and good deeds.
4. To promote peace, prosperity and happiness in a religiously devoted nation.
5. To preserve and promote heritage, monuments and religious beliefs.
6. To broaden the public relation
7. To virtually learn the coordination skills.

Its my great pleasure to thank all the well wishers, college administration, Chukha Dzongkhag Admistration, Ministry of Home and culture affairs, Ministry of Finance, Commision for Religious Organization, Students of Gaeddu College of business studies, Local people and many donors for contributing in the form of both cash and kind through kind heart. Construction of Chorten/ Stupa near by the Gedu College High Way has been completed by today 18th January 2015. The great achievement that we have done is because of great blessings from the god and with the help from different class of people.Thank you all for your kind support!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL.........

We are very lucky to be blessed with the beautiful rainbow shined when our Tsogshing is being put inside the chorten on last Sunday. It is great sign of Dharma which we believe that it is having some very unique value of Construction of Chorten/ Stupa in the college campus........It is my pleasure to inform all the kind hearted donors for helping in our project.....The project would not be at this stage without the help from our donors.....Thank u all once again..........
