There are moments in education that transcend academic achievement and become a celebration of aspiration, determination, and the limitless potential of our young minds. The award of His Majesty’s Academic Excellence Award, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the country, is such a moment. The award honors students who have distinguished themselves by attaining the highest academic standards in their respective grades from Class VI and above, reflecting not only intellectual excellence but also unwavering commitment, perseverance, and discipline.

Today, 21 outstanding students from the central cluster of PemaGatshel Dzongkhag were recognized for their remarkable achievements. The award recipients comprised 6 students from PemaGatshel MSS, 8 students from Nangkor Central School, 3 students from Khar MSS, 2 students from Gonpasingma Lower Secondary School, and 2 students from Khengzor Primary School. Their accomplishments stand as a testament to the collective efforts of students, teachers, parents, and school leaders in fostering a culture of excellence and high expectations.

The certificates were awarded by Dasho Dzongdag, who congratulated the recipients and underscored the importance of sustaining their pursuit of excellence. Dasho reminded the students that this recognition is not only the reward for past achievements but a call to continue striving for greater heights, embracing challenges with confidence, and living up to the highest standards of academic and personal integrity expected of future leaders of the nation.

As we celebrate these young achievers, we also celebrate the promise they hold for the future of Bhutan.
