Today, we bid farewell to a wonderful colleague, Ms. Pasang Wangmo, who is being transferred after almost three years of dedicated service with us. We truly appreciate the hardwork, commitment and positive attitude Ms. Pasang has brought to the team. Throughout these years, she has consistently contributed with professionalism, reliability and willingness to support others whenever needed. The work experience and guidance Ms. Pasang shared have left lasting impact on all of us.

While we will miss her dearly, we are happy to see Pasang move forward to a new chapter. We wish her the very BEST in her new workplace. May she achieve greater success, continue to grow, and find new opportunities to excel.

The District Court of Punakha is delighted to have welcomed a group of students from Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law’s Summer School 2026 for a field trip on 19th June,2026. As a part of the trip, students visited the Courtrooms, interacted with the Judge who has shared his knowledge and experience on laws and procedures of District Courts in Bhutan. May the Court Visit experience provide them with a rich and rewarding experience, making their field trips truly impactful!

The Judiciary of Bhutan warmly welcomed our Court Registrar Pasang Wangmo of Punakha Dzongkhag Court following her successful completion of the prestigious three-month Pelsuung Immersion Programme.

Instituted by His Majesty The King, this visionary initiative aims to equip Bhutanese professionals with the leadership acumen, innovative mindset, and practical competencies necessary to contribute meaningfully to the development of the Gelephu Mindfulness City and the nation’s long-term economic transformation.

The Judiciary takes immense pride in her selection for, and successful completion of, this distinguished programme. Her participation exemplifies a strong commitment to continuous learning, leadership, and dedicated service to the nation.

The family of Punakha District Court warmly welcomed our Registrar, Ms. Pasang Wangmo upon her return from the Pelsung Immersion Program today. She has been away since 5th March,2026 and will now resume her official duties this week.
