Bhutan has entered the Singapore agri-food market, opening a Mini Bhutan Market at the Shangri-La Singapore on May 21, where 11 Bhutanese entrepreneurs introduced local products to Singaporean buyers, importers and distributors.

Bhutan Naturals was honored to represent Bhutan agri-entrepreneurs, along with 10 fellow entrepreneurs, during the Thailand Market Exploration and Business Linkage Program held from 9-13 March 2026. The program was led by the Director and team from DAMC in collaboration with JICA.

The B2B engagements, industry visits, and meetings with officials from the Thai FDA were highly constructive, providing valuable insights and meaningful exposure to the Thai market.
We now look forward to effectively implementing our action plan and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with our counterparts in Thailand.

We extend our sincere appreciation to DAMC, MoAL for their unwavering support in facilitating strategic linkages with prospective buyers and collaborators in Thailand.

Positioning for Export Readiness!

Bhutan Naturals had the opportunity to participate in a three-day, seminar on Agri-Food Export and Marketing for the Singapore Market, held from 12-14 January 2026 at Hotel River Valley, Punakha, followed by a one-on-one consultation in Thimphu on 15 January 2026 with Mr. Thiban, CEO and Founder of Business Engineers, Singapore. The program was jointly organized by DAMC and JICA.

Leveraging this critical training, Bhutan Naturals is gearing up to make its products export-ready, with the objective of entering the Singapore market on a pilot basis by April 2026. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Director and team of DAMC, as well as the Chief Representative and Mr. Suto-san of JICA for their valuable, timely, and forward looking initiatives. Bhutan Naturals was represented by its Founder and Advisor.

This will create positive trickle-down impacts for our organic farmer groups, especially women and youth involved in sustainable spice cultivation, and will contribute to enhancing food security.
