Today our school had the honour of welcoming the EMD (Education Monitoring Division) officer from the Ministry of Education.

He delivered an insightful presentation through slides, sharing valuable knowledge on education and school improvement practices. His session was not only informative but also highly motivating, as he inspired both teachers and students through his real-life experiences and meaningful stories.

As a special gesture, he also gifted two story books written by himself. These books will surely encourage our learners to develop a love for reading and storytelling.

We are truly grateful for his visit, encouragement, and continuous support towards strengthening education in our school. Such interactions help us grow and improve our teaching and learning journey.

Today, our students had an informative and meaningful traffic awareness talk conducted by the traffic police. The session focused on important road safety rules and regulations, helping students understand the importance of being responsible pedestrians and road users.

To encourage active participation and correct responses during the session, some students were rewarded by the traffic police. The program was both educational and engaging, reminding everyone that β€œSafety on the road begins with awareness and discipline.”

Today, we joyfully celebrate Teacher’s Day, a special occasion to honor the dedication, care, and hard work of our teachers who shape young minds and build the future.

On this meaningful day, we also remembered and pay tribute to His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, the beloved Third Druk Gyalpo, on his birth anniversary. His visionary leadership brought modern education to Bhutan, laying the foundation for the learning we value today.

Adding to the celebration, our Principal awarded certificates and khadar to some staff in recognition of their hard work and sincere dedication. This gesture inspired everyone to continue striving for excellence.

Let us express our gratitude to all teachers and reflect on the importance of education in our lives.
