Today, our school celebrated a joyful and meaningful Reading Festival in the presence of our esteemed guests, and parents. The programme began with Gyalpoi Zhabten, seeking blessings for the successful celebration and the well-being of all.

The celebration continued with a variety of engaging activities and competitions. PP to Class III students participated in the Rhymes Competition, showcasing their confidence, expressions, and creativity through rhymes.

Classes IV A and IV B participated in the Reader’s Theatre, while Class V students took part in Poem Recitation. Our Class VI students presented a drama, demonstrating their creativity, teamwork, and acting skills.

We also conducted a House-wise Debate Competition in both English and Dzongkha, providing our students with an opportunity to demonstrate their confidence, communication skills, critical thinking, and knowledge. The best speakers were Nyingdrup Choker Shardon in English and Sangay Jampel Thinley in Dzongkha.

The festival provided a wonderful platform for our students to read, recite, perform, express themselves, and build confidence, while fostering a stronger culture of reading and learning in our school.

The school successfully conducted First Aid Demo lesson for Nachung scouts by Desup Rinchen Chioten.The program focused on equipping students with basic first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond appropriately to common injuries and emergencies. The session was coordinated by the school scout coordinator and trainning was informative, practical, and highly beneficial for the scouts, helping them develop confidence, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The school sincerely appreciates the continued support and cooperation extended by Desung Office and particularly Desup Rinchen for your time and valuable wisdom.

Today, our school family warmly welcomed our new ADM with great joy and respect. The ceremony began with the offering of butter lamps, followed by a heartfelt welcome from our Principal, teachers, and students.

Our Principal delivered the welcome address, followed by remarks from the Vice Principal. As a gesture of Bhutanese hospitality, suja and desi were served before officially escorting our new ADM to the office.

Today, our school successfully conducted the Term II Parents–Teacher Meeting, followed by Result Day. The programme began with a warm welcome and a traditional offering ceremony led by our Chief Guest, the Bhutan Telecom Manager and BCTA In-charge.

During the meeting, some of the teachers delivered informative presentations on important topics, including students’ academic progress, attendance, discipline, learning support at home, responsible use of technology, and the importance of strong parent–teacher collaboration in supporting students’ overall development.

Following the meeting, students received their results. Certificates and prizes were presented to the class toppers and overall toppers in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Chief Guest, parents, teachers, and students for their active participation and support in making today’s programme a meaningful and successful event. Together, let us continue working hand in hand to nurture every child’s growth and success.

We would like to inform all parents and students that the examinations for Classes IV to VI have commenced today and will continue as per the examination schedule.

Students of PP to Class III are required to attend school regularly and continue their normal classes during the examination period. We kindly request all students to maintain punctuality, regular attendance, and discipline throughout the week.

We wish our Class IV to VI students the very best in their examinations. May your hard work and dedication lead to success. Parents are requested to support their children by ensuring adequate rest, healthy meals, and timely preparation for the exams.
