Zilnoen Namgyelling LSS conducted an orientation programme for the newly appointed Vice Captains. Madam Vice Principal led the programme, providing guidance on the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of the Captains and Vice Captains as student leaders.

The programme was followed by a meaningful Khadar offering by Lopen Khenpo to the newly appointed Captains, symbolising blessings, goodwill, and encouragement as they take on their leadership responsibilities.

We wish all the Captains and Vice Captains a successful and meaningful leadership journey.

Zilnoen Namgyelling LSSSchool successfully celebrated its Sports Day with great enthusiasm, joy, and laughter. The day was filled with exciting games, energetic participation, cheerful cheers, and wonderful moments shared by our students and teachers. From the beginning to the end, the school ground was alive with happiness and team spirit.

The Sports Day was not only about competition and winning, but also about building friendship, teamwork, confidence, and a sense of belonging among our students. Every participant gave their best, while teachers and students supported and encouraged one another throughout the events. The smiles, laughter, and excitement on everyone’s faces made the day truly special and memorable.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to all the teachers, staff, students, and everyone who contributed their time and effort to make the event a success. Their teamwork and dedication made everything run smoothly. It was wonderful to see our school community come together, celebrate sports, and create beautiful memories. The Scout Scarf Investiture Ceremony was a truly special occasion for our Chechey Scouts. It marked the proud moment when our young Checheys officially joined the Scouting movement, becoming full members of the worldwide brotherhood and sisterhood of Scouts.

The Scout scarf is far more than just a piece of clothβ€”it is a powerful symbol. Receiving the first scarf is a milestone, a tangible award that a child can wear with pride. It represents belonging, responsibility, and achievement.

Our scarves proudly incorporate the colors of our national flag. By wearing them, our young Scouts are instilled with citizenship mindset such as to honor their school, serve their community, and respect their country. Each scarf becomes a daily lesson in unity, discipline, and patriotism.

Our school successfully conducted the Parent-School Meeting and Mid-Term Result Declaration with the active participation of parents.

The programme began with a warm welcome to all parents. The Principal briefed the gathering on the school’s administrative norms and expectations. This was followed by a budget presentation by Mr. Rinchen Wangdi, a presentation on the school’s student wellbeing programmes by Counsellor Ms. Karma Yangdon, and an overview of the Mid-Term Examination results by Mr. Tshering Chophel, the Examination Secretary.

The programme then continued with parenting sessions for parents of students from PP to Class III, facilitated by the respective class teachers. Finally, parents met individually with the class teachers, who shared and discussed each student’s mid-term academic performance and progress.

The school is conducting the Scouting Program every Thursday to promote the overall wellbeing of the students. Through various scouting activities, students are developing teamwork, discipline, leadership, responsibility, and confidence in an engaging and supportive environment.

Day 3: School-Based Parenting Education and Awareness Programme

On the third day of the Wellbeing Programme, a School-Based Parenting Education and Awareness Programme was conducted for the parents and caregivers of students from Classes IV to VIII.The session presented the findings of the school's situational analysis, highlighting key concerns affecting students' wellbeing and learning, along with recommendations on the parental support needed to address these issues.

Parents were further oriented on the importance of providing emotional support to their children during the examination result period.
