Royal Academy of Performing Arts Royal Academy of Performing Arts is established by The late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck remembered today as the “father of Bhutan established it in 1954.

The Academy was given the clear mandate to preserve the traditional songs and dances of Bhutan.
