Today, on the auspicious 15th day of the 7th lunar month, an inauguration ceremony was held for the newly kitchen Cum Shelter at Shelkar Dra Lhakhang.

The auspicious ceremony was presided over by the Honourable Lam Neten of Haa Dratshang and graced by the presence of the Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Drangpon, Dasho Officer Commanding (OC), Chairperson of the Dzongkhag Tshogdu, IMTRAT representatives, and officers from the military sector, among others.

The construction of these facilities was financially supported by the Government of India (GoI) under the Religious Activities Programme of the Dratshang Lhentshog.

The newly constructed facilities were formally inaugurated on this auspicious occasion, marking another meaningful step towards strengthening and supporting the spiritual and religious activities of the Lhakhang.

The Salang Tendrel ceremony for the reconstruction of Rangtse Lhakhang, Gakiling Gewog, Haa, was successfully conducted yesterday on the auspicious 14th day of the 7th lunar month.

The Salang Tendrel (Ground Breaking Ceremony) for the reconstruction of Rangtse Lhakhang, Gakiling Gewog, Haa, was successfully conducted yesterday on the auspicious 14th day of the 7th lunar month.

The ceremony was presided over by the Honourable Lam Neten of Haa Dratshang and graced by the Dasho Drungpa and Dasho Drangpon of Sangbaykha Drungkhag, along with the Gup, sector heads of Gakiling Gewog, and the people of Rangtse Chiwog.

Adding to the auspiciousness, a beautiful circular rainbow appeared around the sun, traditionally regarded as a good omen and a sign of blessings and auspicious beginnings.

The reconstruction of the one-storey traditional Lhakhang is supported under the 13th Five-Year Plan of the Dratshang Lhentshog Secretariat, with financial support from the Government of India (GoI).

Karma Hamu Dorjee, Ambassador of Bhutan to Maldives presented her Letter of Credence to Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives, accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bhutan to Maldives with residence in Dhaka.

The presentation ceremony was held at the Presidentโ€™s Office in Male.

During the ceremony, Ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty The King, the government and the people of Bhutan to the President and the people of Maldives.

The Ambassador reaffirmed the commitment of the Royal Government of Bhutan to further deepen the long-standing ties between Bhutan and Maldives.

On the sidelines, the Kutshab called on Maldivian senior officials to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore avenues for further co-operation.

Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Bhutan were established on July, 20, 1984.
