The ECB was delighted to welcome a group of student leaders from eleven secondary schools of Trashigang Dzongkhag, accompanied by two teachers and the Democracy Club Coordinator of Debsi High School to Democracy House today.

An interactive session was organised to deepen their understanding of the Bhutanese democracy, electoral processes, impact of digital media, and the central role every citizen plays in a healthy democracy.

It was an opportunity not only to explore democratic values, civic responsibilities, and the importance of informed participation with the next generation of leaders but also to underscore that everyone, including those yet to cast their first ballot, shapes the health of our democracy through their everyday choices.
