I still can’t believe that Barbara Reatshwana Gotlop is no longer with us. I met her at the very beginning of the Mascom BATANANI Charity Walk, a cause she poured her heart into. From day one, her passion for helping others was evident especially to the Francistowners.

Over the years, I watched Barbara dedicate herself to making a real difference in the lives of the people of Francistown. With Batanani ele ruri lere tshwaraganetse re le Batswana ba Francistown

Indeed heaven has gained an angel🤍. The impact she made will never fade, and her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched. My deepest condolences to her family and the entire Mascom Botswana family during this difficult time.

Yesterday I had the absolute honor of being amongst the stakeholders appreciated by Montsamaisa CJSS . This session recognized the various important roles stakeholders play in ensuring seamless education through Mentorship programs, Infrastructure development,Dealing with Issues of drugs and alcohol abuse, Counseling as well as finding ways of helping Children from dysfunctional families.

Speaking at the session, Montsamaisa CJSS school head Mr Mbeha stressed that having partners in education helps stakeholders understand what's happening in schools and find ways they can impact the lives of students as well as improve the standard of education in their communities.

Northern Region Director of education Mr Labane Mokgosi commended Montsamaisa for this gesture, further calling onto individuals as well as the private sector to find ways they can positively impact schools in their communities.

I would also like to recognize and celebrate the exceptional performance of Donga Junior Secondary School and Selepa Junior Secondary School in Francistown East Constituency as well as others whom I have not mentioned but tirelessly worked in achieving good results. Your impressive results are a testament to the dedication of your students, the hard work of your teachers, and the unwavering support from parents and the school leadership. You have demonstrated that perseverance and teamwork lead to success, and you continue to inspire many.

Yes we still have a long way to go as a nation in addressing the worrisome 6000 candidates who have obtained ungraded, but for now we celebrate.
