Working in a hospital environment can be demanding and emotionally draining. Taking time to step outside the clinical space and serve the community is both refreshing and deeply fulfilling.
This past weekend, our Accident and Emergency Department extended compassion beyond the hospital by identifying needy students at Mowana Primary School in Francistown and providing them with school uniforms. A school uniform is more than clothing. It gives a child dignity, confidence, belonging, and encouragement to continue learning.
This gesture reflects the true spirit of healthcare: caring for patients during emergencies while also supporting the dignity and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
