The Department of Government Printing and Publishing Services was honoured to host learners and educators from Robelela Primary School of Bobirwa District on Friday, 24 July, for an educational tour of Government Printing production facilities. The purpose of the visit was to provide the learners with a first-hand appreciation of industrial printing and mass production processes.
During the tour, they were introduced to the various stages involved in the production of government publications. Therefore, they gained valuable insight into the vital role of the Department in supporting education and public service delivery.
The visit was warmly welcomed, and the Deputy Government Printer, Mr Peter Tshukudu, expressed appreciation for the proactive efforts of Robelela Primary Schoolβs management in exposing young students to diverse career opportunities at an early age. In addition, the Department remains committed to promoting educational outreach by providing opportunities for learners to connect classroom knowledge with practical, real-world experiences.
