Why It’s Dangerous to Give Your Project to an Unqualified Person

Many people don’t realize it’s construction su***de to hand over their building project to someone who is not trained, licensed, or qualified.

This isn’t just about wasting money. It’s like throwing your investment into the river
and selling your peace of mind along with it. You don’t just lose cash; you risk the safety, durability, and future of your building.

Construction Requires a Second Check and It Starts With the Structural Drawing
In proper engineering practice, once you complete your structural design and analysis, someone else must review it.

This principle was drilled into us right from the university. No matter how confident you are, you don’t sign off your own structural drawings, setting-out, or reinforcement layout. Another trained eye is required.

Why? Because the accuracy of those elements determines how the rest of the site work will go. One error in setup can ruin the entire stability of the building.

Reinforcement Placement Needs another Eye to check snd recheck

Once the iron bender and site engineer have completed the reinforcement work, don’t rush into casting. A qualified third party must inspect it before concrete is poured.

Here’s what should be checked:
• Top and bottom bars
• Lap lengths and positions
• Bar spacing and sizes
• Concrete cover
• Stirrups, hooks, and anchorage etc

This one s necessary beacause one missed detail can lead to failure sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few months or years.

Untrained personnel ( quacks) don’t know any of this.
They think construction is just stacking blocks and pouring concrete.
But that’s not construction. That’s gambling with someone’s money, property, and sometimes their life.
