Architects' Registration Council To provide for the registration of Architectural professionals & regulation of the practice of architecture in Botswana and for matters incidental thereto.

The Architects’ Registration Council (ARC) is established by Act of Parliament-Cap.61:08, to provide for the registration of Architects, Architectural technologists and Architectural draftspersons, regulation of the practice of architecture in Botswana, qualifications and training of architectural professionals and for matters incidental thereto. In terms of the Act and its regulations an individu

al shall, first and foremost, obtain a Certificate of Registration or Temporary Registration, the validity of which will entitle him or her to apply for a Practicing Certificate should one wish to render services to the public as a professional in one of the categories of registration or should one wish to be engaged in the procurement or management of the performance of the Work of an Architect, whether in the private or public sector.
