The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority voted in September to rename the facility, with an official new title expected in the coming months.

From humble beginnings in the mountains of Tennessee, Parton launched a career in music and movies that epitomizes the American dream.

🥳 Congratulations to 12 members of the newest cohort of ‘disease detectives’ who are now equipped to prevent, detect, and respond to disease outbreaks. Having just graduated from the Intermediate Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) – supported by the U.S. Government through U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – these graduates will now lead rapid-response teams to address emerging public health threat in their districts.

The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, Christopher Gunning congratulated Botswana for the strides made in building a competent workforce of public health officers resulting in successful containment of several disease outbreaks.
