Kenya High Commission in Botswana

𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠! 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨! 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫!

I arrived safely in Nairobi where I am participating in the Africa–France Partnership for Innovation and Growth Summit taking place from 10–12 May 2026.

In my capacity as a Member of Club de Madrid, I’m taking part in various sessions within the official programme, as well as engagements convened by the Gates Foundation and activities under the Women and Youth Democracy project funded by the European Commission.

Club de Madrid, the world’s largest forum of democratic former Presidents and Prime Ministers, continues to provide a platform for leveraging leadership experience and global reach to strengthen inclusive democratic practice and improve the well being of people around the world.

I will return to Botswana on 13 May 2026.

Kajiado County governor, Hon. Joseph Ole Lenku led a delegation visiting Botswana on a benchmarking exercise in pastoral and ranch development, on a courtesy visit to the Chancery earlier today.

Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon. Julius Migos Ogamba paid courtesy visit to the residence of Kenya High Commissioner, H.E Amb.Sabdiyo Dido Bashuna, during which the two leaders reflected on the progress of Kenya-Botswana collaboration in the education sector.
