The High Commissioner received the newly elected team of the India Association of Botswana (IAB), led by President Mr. Raj Kukreja, at the High Commission on 26 August 2026. Other officials of the High Commission also participated in the interaction.

The IAB team briefed the High Commissioner on its proposed cultural, community and sporting activities for the year, including charitable initiatives. The High Commissioner encouraged the Association to broaden its outreach by actively involving the local community, ICCR scholars and the wider Indian community, thereby further strengthening the community’s engagement with Botswana.
