What should do to prove ourselves to this Government? -PGDTVE/CVET graduates
We are constantly overlooked in all Educations sectors.. here is wat they say
MoBE - you are lecturers not teachers, if we consider to hire you on temp, you are our last option
MoTE- we don't know you, go to DPSM, DSD or HRDC
MoESD- we don't know you, we get our lecturers from Labour offices, we dont care if they have teaching qualification or not.. if we need Key Skills lecturers, we go to TSM and get teachers.

Mind you, PGDTVE/CVET graduates were and continue to be trained & sponsored by the same Government.

And WHAT ABOUT PGDTVE & CVET graduates?
The ministry of Basic Education seems to be way ahead in their placement strategy as there is a clear paths of absorption of teachers in their system.. little to none can be said about the ministry of Employment which seem to have no direction at all when it comes to absorption or even temporary employment of lecturers in Brigades. This has left Post Graduate Diploma in Technical & Vocational Education (PGDTVE) and Certificate in Technical & Vocational Education (CVET) stranded.
Sometimes they are told to go register at labour offices because the DEPARTMENT OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (DSD) has no database of such graduates yet they are produced every year from one government institution of higher learning known as FRANCISTOWN COLLEGE OF TECHNICAL & VOCATIONAL EDUCATION (FCTVE).
Whats stopping the Ministry of Employment to have such database like that of TSM in the Basic Education ministry?

Graduates, inbox your collective griviances, we will publish them here

ORAL HEALTH - KEEP THE BEAUTIFUL SMILE BW

What is plaque?

Plaque is a sticky layer of material containing bacteria that accumulates on teeth, including where toothbrushes can't reach. Many of the foods you eat cause the bacteria in your mouth to produce acids. Sugary foods are obvious sources of plaque, but there are others that you might not realize can cause harm. Starches—such as bread, crackers, and cereal—also cause acids to form. Plaque also produces substances that irritate the gums, making them red, sensitive, and susceptible to bleeding. This can lead to gum disease, in which gums pull away from the teeth and form pockets that fill with bacteria and pus. If the gums are not treated, the bone around the teeth can be destroyed and teeth may become loose or have to be removed.

How can I get rid of plaque?

The best way to remove plaque is by brushing and cleaning between your teeth every day. Brushing removes plaque from the tooth surfaces. Brush your teeth twice per day with a soft-bristled brush. The size and shape of your toothbrush should fit your mouth and allow you to reach all areas easily. Use an antimicrobial toothpaste containing fluoride, which helps protect your teeth from decay. Clean between the teeth once a day with floss or interdental cleaners to remove plaque from between the teeth, where the toothbrush can't reach. Flossing is essential to prevent gum disease.
