Advancing Sustainable Fisheries Management

Acting Director of High Seas Fisheries, Ms. Delice Pinkard, and Fisheries Scientist and Data Officer, Mr. Charles O. Coc, are currently participating in the Workshop on Management Procedures and Management Strategy Evaluation (MSE), hosted by The Ocean Foundation.

The workshop is focused on strengthening fisheries management procedures through innovative, science-based approaches. Management procedures and harvest strategies incorporate scientific data and pre-agreed decision rules to support consistent, transparent, and sustainable fisheries management. These tools play a critical role in ensuring the long-term conservation and responsible use of marine resources for future generations.

Through continued learning and collaboration, we remain committed to supporting responsible maritime practices and contributing to the long-term sustainability of our oceans.
