Today, our book club ventured on its very first trip to Daphne's Lagoon Lodge and what an unforgettable experience it was!

From the moment we started the journey, the excitement from our babies was priceless. They enjoyed every single minute — from the ride, the delicious food and refreshing drinks, to the fun games, sightseeing, swimming, and seeing the beautiful animals. The laughter, smiles, and pure joy shared throughout the day made this trip truly special. 🥰

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff and management for the amazing hospitality and warm welcome. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made the experience even more memorable for both the children and adults.

Seeing our readers relax, bond, explore, and simply enjoy themselves outside of the Library was such a rewarding feeling. This was more than just a trip — it was a day filled with memories, happiness, learning, and togetherness that we will cherish forever.📖

Here’s to many more adventures with our amazing book club family!

IT IS WITH DEEP PROFUND SADNESS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE HEAVENLY TRANSITION OF ANDREW JACKSON BRADLEY Sr.🕊️

He is Predeceased by Mother: Valerie Thompson Bohling

Brother: Dion Burton

He is Survived by:
His wife: Marisol Bradley

Father: Leo Francis Bradley

Daughters: Escelia Bradley Leal, Nasheria Bradley, and Marlenia Bradley

Son: Andrew Bradley Jr.

Sons in law: Ismael Leal, Lloyd Crawford and Adrian Kelly

Grandkids: Andrew Bradley III, Ayslin Molina, Brayden Bradley, and Annie Bradley

Sister: Candy Moody Douglas, Lisa Bradley Clare, Wendy Anderson, Jermaine Bradley & Jamallie Bradley

Andrew Jackson Bradley Sr. is also survived by a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral Service for Andrew Jackson Bradley Sr. will be held at Mt. Moriah SDA, Burrell Boom on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The body will be received at 9:00 a.m. for viewing.

Interment follows at Burrell Boom Cemetery. (Camp Oakley Road)

Heartfelt condolences to our Fire Chief, Boom Bwai, Mr. Colin Gillett, on the passing of his beloved wife, Agnes Segura Gillett.

There are truly no words strong enough to ease the pain and sorrow that you and your children are feeling at this difficult time. Please know that your family is in the thoughts and prayers of the entire community. May the love, support, and cherished memories of Agnes give you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Losing someone so dear leaves a space that can never be filled, but her kindness, love, and presence will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May God grant you peace, courage, and healing during this heartbreaking time.

On behalf of the community, we extend our deepest sympathy to you, your children, and the entire Gillett and Segura families. Rest peacefully, Agnes. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. 🙏🏽🕊️
