Building Stronger Teams to Deliver Better Care 🤝💙

Today, staff from the Good Samaritan Homeless Shelter and Golden Haven are participating in a two-day Conflict Resolution and Team Building Training aimed at strengthening communication, teamwork, problem-solving and positive workplace relationships.

Our staff play an important role in providing daily care and support to older persons and some of the most vulnerable members of our population. Investing in their professional development helps to ensure that they are better equipped to work collaboratively, manage challenges constructively and continue providing compassionate, respectful and quality care.

This training also reinforces an important message: strong teams create stronger services, and stronger services create better outcomes for the people we serve.

We commend our staff for their participation and continued commitment to learning, growing and serving with compassion and professionalism.

Participants engaged in informative sessions covering topics such as effective communication, labour laws, and resume building, equipping them with essential tools to enhance workplace readiness and career development.
