It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Lindy Jeffery, the first Executive Director of the National Council on Ageing. Ms. Jeffery was a pioneering leader whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for advancing the rights, dignity, and empowerment of older persons in Belize.

Her legacy of compassion, advocacy, and service will continue to inspire the work of the Council and all who had the privilege of knowing her. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues during this time of loss.
