According to the SI and the State of Emergency we the Taxi Operators are not allowed to park at the taxi stand nor anywhere in town. We are only to operate when people call us.
However we are only getting a few or no calls weekly.
Am not getting any help from the Government and it's been 8 weeks that I applied for the Government Covid Relief to no avail.
My landlord doesn't want to hear excuses nor does she care that am out of work.. She is threatening and intimidating me with her Lawyer, court, judge and eviction.
It's a stressful time for us taxi operators when others are able to work, the casino is open, food vendors are out and we the taxi operators are being marginalized.
We have bills to pay as well and we have families to feed too.
We pay high fuel prices and all types of taxes as well. WE D SUFFER OUT YA BRO BARROW.
