The Constitution of the eSports Valley
eSports Valley (eSV) aims to build a strong foundation for the eSports community of Abbotsford and compete in local, national and, international tournaments. In order to build this foundation eSV will hold separate sessions of casual and competitive gaming allowing for a broad range of people to be introduced and grow in an eSports community. Along with sess
ions in practice will be entertainment nights during large eSports tournaments (i.e. Organized tournaments will be built to further the community as a professional environment outside of leisure sessions to introduce more people to eSports. Games that will be played are, but not limited to, Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Dota 2, and Fighting Games. These sessions will be held at the Abbotsford University of Fraser Valley campus. I firmly believe that eSports is full of opportunities to grow in a worldly manner and enrich peoples lives with a strong sense of community and self growth. This is because of the incredible community of people that belong to eSports and are apart of it, always helping each other out with words of wisdom, or practice partners, or even in some cases financial problems. No community that I have ever experienced reached the level of camaraderie outside of eSports and for this, I am passionate about not only the games that are played, but the people that are a part of them.
