This annual FREE event, presented by Archway Community Services in collaboration with the City of Abbotsford’s Culture City Program Series, supports newcomers as they share their heritage with the community.

New data highlights ongoing challenges. show signs Canada may be turning a corner, but food insecurity remains at record highs.

We at the Archway Food Bank have seen a 74% increase in demand since 2019, echoing the urgent need for strong provincial action.

BC received an overall grade of D-, which is lower than the national average grade of D+, suggesting poverty is worse in BC than the national average.

Now is the time to push for real change. Join food banks across the country in calling for stronger support and solutions that reduce poverty and food insecurity.

💫The Starfish Program was thrilled to be featured as a beneficiary of the first-ever Annual Fire Fighters Golf Tournament. A huge thank you to the Abbotsford Fire Fighters Association & Charitable Society members who came together to support local children while enjoying a fantastic (only slightly rainy 😉) day on the course!

We’re continually inspired by the dedication of the Fire Fighters who make Abbotsford stronger, both while on and off the clock. Through this initiative, they helped ensure that more children won’t go hungry over the weekend ❤

We’re incredibly inspired to see our community come together in such a powerful way!

On June 20th, Abbotsford trainer JP Siou is taking on an extraordinary challenge, running from sunrise to sunset (over 16 hours!) in a 100 km solstice run to support the Summer Starfish Pack Program.

This program helps ensure children in Abbotsford have access to healthy, nutritious food all summer long and this year we're expecting more than 500 students to sign up.

JP’s goal is to raise $5,100 and thanks to this amazing community over $3,000 has already been raised.

Let’s help him cross the finish line, both on his run and his fundraising goal!

We are so grateful to be invited back to the annual Chicken Golf tournament. We had a great time on hole 1 with ANSER Power Systems. Everyone who donated to get a little closer to the green made their golf game have a greater impact!

The golf tournament’s theme is Farmers Feed People, and it’s evident in so many ways. Thanks to BC Broiler Hatching Egg Producers Association and BC Chicken Growers Association for inviting Archway’s Food Bank & Starfish Pack to be one of the beneficiaries of your annual event.

School’s almost out for summer—but for for hundreds of children in Abbotsford that also means losing access to the breakfasts and lunches they count on all year long and their regular Starfish weekend packs.

Our Summer Starfish Pack Program helps bridge that gap for children in Abbotsford, ensuring they continue to receive food through July and August. This summer we're expecting more than 500 students to sign up. It’s all made possible by the generosity of people like YOU right here in our community.
