Words truly cannot describe how appreciative I am of the amazing volunteers who showed up bright and early Sunday morning to help me get everything ready for the Leathertown Festival.
There is so much that happens behind the scenes before the streets fill up and the festival begins, and I honestly could not have done it without the extra hands, hard work and willingness to jump in wherever I needed help.

I also need to give a very special shoutout to Georgetown BIA Coordinator Drew Pullman.
Drew came all the way over to Acton to lend a hand and help another BIA Coordinator through one of the biggest days of the year. Having someone there who understands exactly what goes into putting on a downtown festival was invaluable. He jumped right in, helped wherever he was needed and truly went above and beyond.
It says a lot about the relationship between our two local BIAs when we can show up for one another and work together to support our communities.
