Sometimes friends cross our paths, some walk with us through parts of our lives. Then there are friendships that last forever and you seal it with a picture of the 3 of you on a mug. Each time you get together you have a drink from it.

We weren't hungry after our scrumptous lunch today! It was made with love which is what made it taste so good!

What did you do on this gray rainy day? Well we went on a bus trip and saw the beautiful fall leaves, we did our exercises, we sang along with Ben, we create wreathes for our doors and spent time with our friends. Not a bad day, we say!

Mind reading still hasn't been mastered, so we learned from Ruth & Jan from Home Hospice North Lanark during the Advanced Care Planning session. The Advanced Care Plan booklet asks you some great questions to help you clearly write and share with your loved ones what your wishes are when you are not able to communicate. There are not too many people that like others making major decisions for them. So this is your chance to set the record straight.
We also covered what a Power of Attorney is, who should be one, what they are able to do for you during a situation you are not able to communicate?
