🚒🚨 WELL ANGUS… YOU SHOWED UP! 🚨🚒
What an incredible day!
The turnout for our Open House was absolutely amazing. The hall was full, the trucks were busy, the kids were having a blast, and it was fantastic seeing so many familiar and new faces coming through the doors.
We hope you had as much fun as we did! ❤️
Of course, a day like this doesn’t happen without some pretty amazing community support. We want to give a HUGE thank-you to the local businesses that helped us make it happen:
🥩 Country Meat Cuts & Lucy's Kitchen for donating all those AMAZING burgers! Turns out firefighters cooking burgers might be a questionable combination... we’re a little too comfortable with a bit of char. 😂🍔🔥
🌭 No Frills and Angus Sobeys for keeping everyone fed with hot dogs, buns, condiments and more!
☕ Tim Hortons Angus for the coffee, because let’s be honest… coffee was the real MVP. 😂
Please help us show these local businesses some love. Their generosity and continued support of community events like ours means a great deal to us. ❤️
🔥 But this weekend was about more than just having some fun.
October 4th also marked the beginning of 2026, giving us the perfect opportunity to welcome everyone into the hall, have some fun together and, most importantly, share the message of fire safety and prevention.
🎉🚒 AND… DID WE MENTION WE’RE TURNING 60?! 🚒🎉
October 2026 marks a pretty incredible milestone for us: 60 YEARS of serving this amazing community! 🔥
That’s six decades of fire trucks and sirens, community events and fire prevention, helping our neighbours, and generations of members stepping up to serve their community when they’re needed.
The trucks have changed.
The gear has changed.
The hairstyles have DEFINITELY changed. 😂
But one thing hasn’t changed: our dedication to this community. ❤️
60 years of service.
60 years of memories.
60 years of community.
To every past and present member, family, supporter and community member who has been part of that journey, THANK YOU.
And to our firefighters, Association members, volunteers and families who prepared, cleaned, cooked, organized, entertained, educated and kept everything moving throughout the Open House, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who walked through our doors.
You helped us celebrate our community.
You helped us kick off Fire Prevention Week.
You helped us celebrate 60 incredible years.
And judging by the turnout...
We think it’s safe to say Angus understood the assignment. 😂❤️
🔥🚒 THANK YOU, ANGUS! Here’s to 60 years of serving this incredible community and many, many more to come! 🚒🔥
