Dalkeith Elementary School in Anjou, Quebec. Small school with a lot of heart. Pre-K to Grade 6 The 2011 / 2012 academic year marked our 50th Anniversary.

Dalkeith Elementary has proudly been serving Ville d’Anjou and surrounding areas in Montreal since 1961. Over twenty years ago, Dalkeith implemented the integration of special needs students into the regular classroom setting; a program and practice that we continue to this day. Throughout the years, faces and teaching practices may have changed but our fundamental philosophy of nurturing potentia

l in all students has remained unchanged. During those fifty years, Dalkeith has touched the lives of thousands of students and their families, helping them for their future. Their stories are what we are most proud of in our history. Dalkeith Elementary is located at 7951 Dalkeith Ave. in Ville d’Anjou, a quiet residential street with little to no ‘through traffic’. Our school is the only building on a full city block. The remainder of our lot has a small asphalt schoolyard surrounded by grassy fields large enough to provide 3 soccer fields and a skating rink in winter. Our building also has:
- All classrooms are equipped with wireless internet access
- Over half of our classrooms are equipped with mounted smart boards and projectors (100% by 2013)
- Gymnasium (full elementary size: 45 x 60 & 25 ft. ceiling) with stage
- Central Library enriching our classroom collection of books.
- School Cafeteria
- A double capacity Activity/Presentation room

⏰ Day 1 Entry:

🚌 Bussed Students: 9:00 a.m.
📍 Dalkeith Door – Horseshoe Drive

🚶‍♀️ Walkers: 9:20–9:30 a.m.
📍 Back Schoolyard (Day 1 only)

😁 Daycare: 7:00–9:00 a.m.
📍 Far Goncourt Door

🖍️ Preschool, Kindergarten & Closed Classes:
🌟 Families will be contacted by their child’s teacher with first-day information (progressive entry).

🚌 Bus Reminder: Bus information is available through the Mozaik Parent Portal under Record → Transportation. Students may take the bus tomorrow morning (Day 1) without a pass.

Our hearts are so full celebrating our amazing Grade 6 grads! 🎓💫

We had heartfelt valedictorian speeches, dancing, sweet treats, and made special memories at the Photo Booth! 📸💃🍬

A heartfelt thank you to the Director of the Generations Foundation Mr. Dominic Talarico, EMSB Commissioner Maria Corsi, and EMSB Regional Director Darlene Kehyayan for joining us.

Thank you to all parents, especially those on the Governing Board and PPO, for your support and dedication.

Another year. Another group of preschool graduates. 🎓✨

Watching these little learners grow, learn, and shine has been such a privilege. Today, they proudly received their diplomas and took one more big step toward their next adventure.

🎪🎉 W is for Woohoo, It’s Carnival Day! 🎉🎪

WOOHOO is right! What an incredible day of fun and excitement! Students bounced on inflatables, showed off their face paint and temporary tattoos, tested their skills at challenge games, enjoyed hot dogs, danced to music and so much more! 🌭🎶🎨🎈

The smiles were endless, the energy was contagious, and the memories will last long after the carnival is over. What a fantastic day at Dalkeith! ❤️🎉
