Hilltop Manor Circle of Life Program

Just a quick reminder on what this programs all about! 🥰

The seniors at the Hilltop Manor always LOVE to see the children coming to visit but usually only see them at Halloween, Christmas or some other holiday. So I had the idea to start a program that would bring the children in once a month to interact with our seniors, each month will be something different. If we have enough interest we will organize activities for different age groups each month such as “Elders & Infants Playtime” where babies 18 months and under can come to simply play together on the floor in the lounge and interact with the residents, and “senior and tot’s tea party” where toddlers can come have some “tea” and snacks!

Throughout the year we will have All Age holiday partys for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter etc where there will be games and crafts that both the seniors and kids can enjoy and play together! ❤️

If this is something you and your kiddies might be interested in then please join in on the fun and help bring some joy to our seniors. 🥰 you can like the programs page to keep up to date on the next months upcoming event. This is completely free of course and any snacks, play mats, toys etc. will be provided, just show up, play with some friends, do some crafts and bring a smile to an elders face 😍 please share!

The summer is over and we’re looking to get the circle of life program back up and running this year! ❤️ this is depending on how many are interested and will actually attend! We had to cancel many times last year due to lack of interest and not enough kids to put it off which was very disappointing as there is time and money put into throwing these events and the seniors look forward to it and usually make things to prepare for the children’s arrival as well.

Anyone interested in joining the program and feel their children will take part please comment below or message Heidi Branton so we can get a good idea on whether to proceed this year or not!

The program is completely free! It’s from ages 0-12 with each month being a different theme and age group. If you’d like to bring some joy to our local seniors then please sign up and follow our page for upcoming announcements and activities that will be taking place! 😍 please share! 🥰

Thanks to all who came out in the cold for our Penguin Party today! 😍

The seniors worked hard making some masks for the kids earlier in the week and they all loved them! 🖤🤍🐧 As you can tell it’s a bit difficult to get a group photo with toddlers in the mix 😅 but we did our best and fun was had by all! 🥰
