We have new books on their way and ready to be adopted!

Would you like to be the first person to read one of these titles while also helping your community? Consider adopting one of these books, a process in which you pay for the book, get to read it before anyone else, get your name on a nameplate in the front (if interested), and allow us to use our funds to purchase another book. A HUGE Thank You to Stephan Jackson, who donated $1500 worth of books and learning kits to Athens Public Library!!! He let us pick what we wanted and then made the purchases for us. This is a great boon to our early literacy collection and will help us fill the gaps in books that are popular that we don't have the resources to keep current with! Thank you so much!🩷🫶🩷

We still have lots of plants left over from our Book and Plant sale! Prices have been reduced, so come and get a deal! We have annuals, perennials, vegetables, and even some trees! Come in while we are open to purchase.🌻🌱🌷🌳🌲🍅🎃

Athens Public Library's Book and Plant Sale is today! We are starting at 9:00 am and the sale will go until 2:00 pm. Books are $10 a bag, with bags being provided, and plants are individually priced. Come early to get the best selection! There will be activities for the kids, with a planty craft. See you soon!📚🌻🌷🌱
