🎉It's the last day to fill up a tote for $10 (cash, debit or credit) at the Ramara Centre branch - 5482 Highway 12. We are open until 3 PM. We do have a few spider and aloe plants ($2) and one lovely tall palm plant ($10 obo). Thanks for your support!

Are you ready for summer reading?
We are launching our summer reading program with an EPIC party! Set sail for adventure and DIVE-IN to fun this summer.
Sigtryggring, Ontario's largest Viking reenactment group, is helping us launch our summer reading program. Join in the fun from 10 AM - 2 PM at the Ramara Centre. Watch a Viking battle, learn how to use a sheild and sword, try to write with Viking Runes, make a craft, and more! Don't forget to pick up your reading passport to keep the fun going all summer long!

❓What do you know about the Williams Treaties?
❗Treaties in Canada are important. They are the agreements between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people that define rights and responsibilities. In 1923, a series of treaties were signed known as the "Williams Treaties." These treaties revised in 2018 to include missing rights (fishing, harvesting, hunting) that were included in other treaties but were not a part of the Williams Treaties.

🍎Do you have a child going to school for the first time this fall? Registration for our 8-week Get Ready for Kindergarten program opens Friday, June 5. The program runs on Wednesday mornings from 10 AM - 12 PM. Children will take part in a variety of activities to build the skills and confidence they will need in the fall.

🎉We are so excited to have Lynda Partridge coming to the library today!
🏫Come to the library at the Ramara Centre from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM today (Saturday, May 30) to meet the author!
🔎Lynda's chapter book series feature a young Indigenous girl discovering her heritage and solving mysteries. There are three books in the series so far and more to come!
Books will be available to purchase from the author.
