🍿 Monday Movies @ the Library 🍿

Join us on June 8 at 6:00 pm for a special screening in recognition of National Indigenous History Month.

Featured Film: Bones of Crows

Bones of Crows is a powerful psychological drama told through the eyes of Cree Matriarch Aline Spears. The film follows her journey of survival through Canada’s residential school system and her family’s generational fight against systemic racism, starvation, and abuse. Spanning over 100 years, this moving story traces trauma, resilience, and healing across generations.

⚠️ Content Advisory:
This film contains mature and sensitive subject matter, including depictions of sexual assault, teen pregnancy, an off-screen su***de, substance use, and strong language. Viewer discretion is advised.

This screening is part of our programming for National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize and honour the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada.

We look forward to welcoming you for this important and thought-provoking film.
