In April, our cadets had the opportunity to take part in two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) training nights led by a local BJJ instructor and business owner Chris!

These sessions provided cadets with a fun and challenging way to build physical fitness, confidence, discipline, and teamwork while learning new skills in a positive environment.

A huge thank you to Chris and 905 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for volunteering their time and expertise to make these evenings such a great experience for our cadets!

Join us in welcoming Lt. Chae to our 2799 staff team!

Her cadet journey began with 818 Falcon Squadron, where she retired as a WO1 (Chief) before returning as an officer with the same squadron. She previously served as the Administration Officer and continues to share her passion for the cadet program through mentorship and leadership.

Beyond the uniform, she’s also a dedicated wife and mom of two — and we’re thrilled to have her and her experience joining our team!

Over March Break, WO Sagoo, and WO Sherman took part in ‘Storm the Giant Regional Expedition’ in Thunder Bay, ON. Additionally MWO Fidler attended as a staff cadet! Filder worked with Team Superior, while Sagoo and Sherman were part of Team Giant. From fat-tire mountain biking to the Thunder Bay lookout, to snowshoeing and spending a night in the freezing backcountry, every moment was a challenge. They pushed on with a hike to the Head of the Giant and cross-country skiing through smooth trails. Through it all, they showed strong leadership, supported one another, and proved what teamwork is all about.
