Availability to work a variety of daytime hours between 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Saturday

Isolation is a reality for many newcomer women, especially during the winter months. Being able to get out of the house to come to MCS's FESPA classes and be with other women is such a blessing. One young mother said “I make friends."

Dive into the fun this fall! Aqua Movement and Exercise for Adults returns October 13 at Terrace Lodge in Aylmer!

It's fun, friendly and the perfect way to move and groove in the pool. Aqua Movement is all about having fun, connecting with others and enjoying a sense of community. Whether you’re looking to stay active, meet new people, or simply enjoy the soothing atmosphere of the water, Aqua Movement offers a welcoming space for everyone.

Daytime: Tuesdays 10am – 10:45am (Oct 13 – Dec 15)
Evening: Tuesdays 7:15pm – 8:00pm (Oct 13 – Nov 24)

Location: Terrace Lodge, 49462 Talbot St E, Aylmer
Cost: $5/person per visit (where space is available)

Imagine a woman with a broken marriage, a mother of multiple children, a court date in hand and no one to turn to, what is she to do. Who can she talk to? How can she get help when language and technology play such a large factor in her next steps. With the help of MCS, this woman was able to make the connections she needed. Her words, “thank you so much for all your help, I don’t feel worthy of all the things you have done for me.”

MCS has launched the Many Hands Helping MCS campaign. Small gestures make a big impact. Please consider helping MCS continue our work.

MCS serves people. From newcomers to new mothers, from the
elderly to children and anyone else that needs assistance. All people need help sometimes and MCS faithfully links resources with those needs.

We are beginning our Many Hands Helping MCS fundraising campain so we may continue providing services. We are asking for each person to make a $20 donation. Small acts of generosity create a large impact and lasting change.

Your donation matters.
It matters to the new mom that we are translating for at the doctors.
It matters to the young family that are new Canadian Citizens.
It matters to the person who needs helping completing their CPP application.
It matters to the person who is searching for work to provide for their family.
It matters to the person who isn’t lonely while listening to our radio station.
