🎓 The Christine Zachary-Doem Memorial Fellowship 2026–2027

Applications are now open for this $25,000 CAD annual fellowship, honouring the legacy of the late Christine Zachary-Doem, a respected Kahnawà:ke community leader dedicated to building Indigenous capacity in cultural and heritage fields.

The fellowship supports the recruitment and retention of Onkwehón:we (Iroquoian) women scholars pursuing graduate studies and research aligned with the objectives of the Onkwehón:we Project.

Eligibility: Women who are members of one of the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy (Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, or Tuscarora), the Wendat Nation, or the Wyandotte Nation, and who are pursuing or planning graduate studies in archaeology, anthropology, history, linguistics, Indigenous studies, museology, archival studies, or related fields.

Application Deadline: October 30, 2026

🌿The Canada-Ontario Resource Development Agreement (CORDA) is now accepting applications for 2027–2028. 🌿

Do you, your First Nation, or your territorial organization have a natural resource project idea? Eligible projects may include fishing, trapping, forestry, commercial recreation and tourism, renewable resource development and planning, and more.

The maximum project funding is $35,000.

Application deadline: October 19th

Parents, enjoy an evening to yourselves while your kids ages 4–12 get their creative juices flowing!

Join us at the Cultural Healing Centre (CHC) from 5:00–7:30 PM for an evening filled with creativity, culture, and fun.

Each session includes dinner, a fun art project, a spotlight on an Indigenous artist and their work, Indigenous music and enjoyment and plenty of creativity and good times!

The Iroquois Cranberry Growers Farm is offering free lumber to community members for personal use.

October 31st
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Iroquois Cranberry Growers Farm

Come by and pick up lumber for your own projects, repairs, or other personal use. Staff will be on-site throughout the day to supervise and assist with the pickup.

Please bring what you need to safely load and transport the lumber.
