We are so excited about the upcoming growing season!! First up this year will be strawberry jam. I’m the next couple weeks we will have lots to go around so make sure to place your orders! We have many changes this year our product is being sold at………Harris Farms in their farm store. Select items from Basic Bee will be available for purchase in the store also cards if you are looking for a larger order! We are so excited to see orders coming from you soon!

We are so excited to start this upcoming growing season!!!

It’s come to my attention that some of you don’t know the girl behind the jar. I started this business when I was 22 years old, my mom taught me as a kid and where she left off I took over. I took a hobby of mine and turned into something beautiful that many other people can enjoy. I have lots of plans for this year as well as working full time, so please be patient with me if you place a large order. I hope you support as much as possible this season and I hope to see an order come in from you!!

Sometimes things happen!

Sometimes jars pop and you don’t hear them and they go moldy, sometimes jars brake in the canning pot. It all happens not all the time just sometimes. If you hear one of your jars pop just put it in the fridge so they don’t go bad on you if they even last that long. Our fun fact of today is pop happens and that’s ok. Once your jar is empty give them a wash and send us a message and we will gladly accept your empty jars.

You know you make preserves when you put everything into jars to make it easier to jar. Seasoning are the most important part of canning. Beets and bread and butter pickles take the most seasoning in our opinion here at Basic bees. We hope to hear from you soon with beet orders, they’ll be ready for Friday you heard it here first.
