As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, we want to remind everyone to celebrate safely!
🍽️ Cooking up a Thanksgiving feast? Keep an eye on what's cooking, set timers, stay in the kitchen and keep anything that can burn away from the stove.
🔥 Gathering with loved ones? Make sure your smoke alarms are working, keep exits clear, and always have a plan to get out safely in an emergency.

Meet Alarm Allie 🚨🏠

Her superpower? Making sure you hear the warning.
Working smoke alarms give you the early warning you need to get out safely. Test your alarms regularly, replace batteries when needed, and make sure you have working smoke alarms on every level of your home and outside sleeping areas. Charging safety is important but it works best alongside the basics of home fire safety.

Keep an eye out for Alarm Allie at our Fire Prevention Week events and add her to your Safe Charging Superheroes collection.

Meet Exit Ethan 🚪⚡

His superpower? Keeping the way out clear.
Never charge e-bikes, e-scooters or other battery-powered devices in hallways, doorways or near exits where they could block your escape. In a fire, every second counts. Make sure you always have a clear way out.

Keep an eye out for Exit Ethan at our Fire Prevention Week events and add him to your Safe Charging Superheroes collection.

Her superpower? Knowing when it’s time to unplug.
Unplug chargers and devices when they’re fully charged, avoid overnight or unattended charging, and don’t leave chargers plugged in when they’re not being used.
