🔥 Another winning design! 🔥

We’re excited to share the second winning submission from our Georgian College Graphic Design class contest! Created by NF Graphic Design this eye-catching design delivers an important reminder: what starts with smoke can end in flames.

If you smoke, smoke outdoors (not in the garage) and always use a deep, sturdy ashtray.

🔌 It’s healthy to set boundaries, especially with your outlets! This creative fire safety message was developed in partnership with the Georgian College Graphic Design program, giving students the opportunity to put their skills to work while helping us share important safety information with our community.

Don't forget! Overloaded outlets and power bars can overheat and create a serious fire risk. Give your devices some space, plug them in safely and avoid asking one outlet to do too much.

A big thank you to student designer for bringing this clever concept to life!

Barrie’s fire danger rating is now LOW. With current conditions, forest fuels are difficult to ignite and the potential for fire spread is limited. Residents and visitors are encouraged to continue following safe burning practices and check current conditions before burning.
