As most of our members know the Travel Committee took on day bus trips. To support the bus trips ,we decided to do a lunch every month to off set the cost to our members. For example the day trip to Bancroft to see Anna of Green Gables....our members paid $35.for this trip, that does not include the bus. The cost of the bus is almost 2200. So where does that money come from, we were hoping we could raise it on a monthly lunch. Unfortunately to have the lunch you need volunteers and also people to attend. So in saying that ,we may have to look elsewhere for support for our trips. Our next lunch is this Tues. April 9th. We are looking for two volunteers to help. I know we are all busy, but if you can spare a couple of hours, please let us know. Our travel Committee has worked hard to make sure our members get to go on day trips. Unfortunately we may not be able to continue to do so.
