We have some great walking trails, fishing (Pike), swimming, if you have a boat the lake is huge for water sports, and a playground. Campground Rates:
Rochon Rate: $32.00
Site #2 Power Site Rate: $40.00
Reservation Fee: $12.00
Group Camping Rate: $190/night (5 units)
Group A Powered: $210/night
Ice: $3.00 (NO TAX)

hone if you want to guarantee a spot. At the time of reservation, we require payment in-full, which will be charged to a credit card. For individual sites on Long Weekend, must reserve two nights or more. Refunds are NOT given for ADVISORIES including weather (rain, wind, snow, temperature), water quality (blue-green algae, non-potable water), air quality, wild animals, insects/pests (mosquitoes, wasps, mice, geese, etc.), fire bans, liquor bans, car trouble, getting lost or evictions. Refunds are at the disclosure of Park Management. Cancellation Policy:
For individual camping sites, AT LEAST 72 hrs of notice prior to 1pm check-in time for the date of the reservation, must be given to the park to receive a refund of your camping fees. Anything less than the stated will be subject to a forfeit of the deposit placed on the camping site that was placed at time of the reservation. For group sites, AT LEAST 30 days of notice prior to 1pm check-in time for the date of the reservation, must be given to the park to receive a refund of your camping fees, less the first night stay. Anything less than the stated will be subject to a forfeit ALL camping fees placed on the camping site. Alcohol is allowed only in your campsites. Campers are not allowed to have alcohol at the beach, walkways, road, etc. This is in accordance of Alberta's Liquor and Gaming Act. If you have any inquires please call us at 403-742-4338.

As a result of the Current weather conditions the County of Stettler is lifting the Fire Ban. A FIRE RESTRICTION will remain in effect 10:00 AM June 6, 2025.

The new vegetation growth has helped to reduce the fire hazard in our area. The current weather forecast does not indicate any additional significant precipitation in the upcoming weeks and the fuel moisture content can fluctuate over a short period of time, therefore A FIRE RESTRICTION will remain.

There are restrictions on burning during this time. Please consider the following:

1. No NEW PERMITS will be issued. Burning of windrows and any brush piles is prohibited.
2. ALLOWS ESSENTIAL BURNING in burning barrels that are constructed of non-combustible material that have a tight-fitting metal mesh screen with openings not larger than 13 mm.
3. ALLOWS backyard fire pits, and safe wood campfires contained by non-combustible material with a metal mesh screen with openings no larger than 13 mm. Portable propane fire pits, gas or propane stoves and barbecues.

Off-highway vehicles and farming equipment can start wildfires - INSPECT YOUR EQUIPMENT frequently to ensure hot spots are free of debris, and make sure mufflers and spark arrestors are working properly.

This FIRE RESTRICTION does not apply to:

- Fires, which are contained within cooking and heating appliances, and which are fueled by propane, natural gas or wood pellets
- Fires contained within industrial facilities for operational purposes
- Approved Gas/Propane fueled fire pits/stoves/barbecues
- Catalytic or infrared-style heaters

Conditions will be monitored. We will update the public on any changes.

This FIRE RESTRICTION will remain in effect until further notice.

URGENT: The Stettler Regional Fire Department has issued a Fire Ban effective May 30, 2025 16:00.
As a result of the continued extreme dry weather, high temperatures and wind conditions, a FIRE BAN is in effect for the County of Stettler, Summer Village of Rochon Sands and surrounding municipalities.
All outdoor fires presently burning within the County of Stettler No. 6 should be extinguished immediately. The ignition of all new outdoor fires is prohibited. All burn permits are canceled effective immediately.
Off-highway vehicles and farming equipment can start wildfires - INSPECT YOUR EQUIPMENT frequently to ensure hot spots are free of debris, and make sure mufflers and spark arrestors are working properly.
This FIRE BAN does not apply to:
- Fires, which are contained within cooking and heating appliances and which are fueled by propane, natural gas or wood pellets
- Fires contained within industrial facilities for operational purposes
