💦And just like that… the 2026 pool season has come to an end! 🥹

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came through our gates this summer! Whether you were here for swimming lessons, public swims, special events, aqua fit, lane swim, rentals, or just to spend a sunny afternoon with us. You helped make this season one to remember!

Thank you to the wonderful staff we had this year that made the pool such an amazing place to be! Thank you for your hard work, long days, endless energy, and all the laughs along the way. You made the pool a fun, welcoming, and safe place for our community. 💙

And after 9 years of working here at the pool and managing for the last 4, I am saying goodbye to the Bassano Outdoor Pool community. I am so thankful to have been a part of the Bassano Outdoor Pool community these past 9 years and am so excited to see what comes out of the pool in the future.

Albertans are proud Canadians, and Alberta Day is an opportunity for all people living in Alberta to connect with the provincial story and celebrate it year after year. Alberta Day is a chance to celebrate Alberta and all of the people living in this great province, to take stock of where we came from, to recognize the Indigenous People who cared for the land and to show pride in what we have achieved.

Please be advised that 6th Avenue will be closed from 1st Street to 2nd Street on Thursday, August 20, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This closure is required for arena servicing activity related to the ice plant. 🧊
