Alban’s Adolphustown is a charitable group formed by concerned community members in 2018 when the Church closed its doors. Alban’s Centre to better reflect our vision of becoming a valued community resource housed in a unique heritage building. Guided and self-guided tours of St. Alban’s are available June through September, on weekends, from 10 am to 2 pm. St Alban’s operates a small Outdoor Cafe

, weather permitting, from July through to September, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sundays from 9am - 1pm. Experience our new Escape Room, Escape St. Time slots are open for booking now on our website. The Church grounds and cemetery are open to visitors year round. Donations are always welcome and can be made through our website:

Our Story

Friends of St. Albans began is an ad hoc group of local residents concerned about the future of St. Alban’s Church in Adolphustown after the church closed in the fall of 2018. Now incorporated as a not-for-profit organization, Friends of St. Alban's Adolphustown has recently applied to become a registered charity.

Our Mission


  • To protect and preserve St. Alban’s Church in Adolphustown by restoring, developing, and maintaining this significant heritage site with a view to commemorating its historical importance and educating the public about it

  • To use St. Alban’s Church as a hub for workshops, arts, handicrafts, hobbies, recreation, and other gatherings for the benefit of the community
