The Bath Fire Department sends our condolences to the families of Warren and Tia, and to the Tobique Fire Department on your loss.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
It is with the heaviest of hearts, that Tobique First Nation Fire Department shares the devastating and heartbreaking news of the loss of two of our firefighters. Our Fire-Family and our community of Tobique First Nation lost two incredible souls, all within a short span of a week.
Two individuals who had such a warm and loving nature to them.
They loved their families, their community and their time serving as a firefighter. They both served with great pride.
Warren Brown, 55, passed away after a battle with cancer on June 5th.
Tia Martin, 28, passed away unexpectedly on June 9th.
To Warren and Tia: on behalf of the entire Tobique Fire Family, we would like to thank you for your service, your sacrifices away from your families to ensure that calls were answered and that training was attended. Your dedication to Tobique Fire is something that we all will never forget. We will carry your memory with us as an inspiration to continue living life with a brightness and positivity that the both of you had.
