Our hearts are so full! 💙 We are incredibly proud to share that our Grade 4 fundraiser raised an amazing $745 for the 60 Million Girls Foundation.

Thank you so much to our entire community for your generosity and support. Your donations will truly make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls in Tanzania by helping provide access to education, school supplies, clothing, and essential resources.

As part of this initiative, our Grade 4 students participated in a long walk to help build empathy and better understand the difficult journeys many girls in Tanzania face each day just to get to and from school. We are so touched by the compassion, kindness, and support shown by our community throughout this fundraiser. Thank you for helping our students learn the importance of giving back and making a difference in the world. 💙

Tomorrow, our Grade 4 students will be leading a very special fundraiser in support of the 60 millions de filles / 60 million girls Foundation. 💛

The funds raised will help support girls in elementary and high school in Tanzania by providing essential school supplies, clothing, and medication, helping open the door to education, opportunity, and a brighter future.

Any donation you are able to send in tomorrow, no matter how small, can truly make a difference in a child’s life. Thank you for supporting our students as they work to make a positive impact beyond our school walls! 🌍✨

What an amazing SEED/Daycare Week! From delicious cookie painting kits at lunch to an amazing variety of outdoor games organized by Everblast for our SEED students, there was fun and laughter all week long. ☀️🍪🎨

A special thank you to our incredible staff for their collaboration, energy, and hard work in making the week such a success. Great memories were made by all! 💙

Today we hosted our annual Volunteer Tea to celebrate all of the incredible volunteers who help make our school such a special place. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and support our volunteers give to our community each and every day. ❤️

Our assembly was filled with wonderful performances from our students, including performances by the Grade 5 and 6 dance team, the Grade 3-5 recorder club, a sweet thank you song from our Grade 1 students, and an unforgettable Cotton Eye Joe/Gangnam Style mashup performance by our Grade 2 and 3 students! Our Grade 3 students also put on a thoughtful thank you skit to show their appreciation.

Following the assembly, our volunteers were invited to enjoy desserts, photos, and time together as a small token of our appreciation. Thank you again to all of our amazing volunteers for everything you do for our school community! ☕️✨

Merci. Nous avons adoré collaborer avec vous !

Un immense merci à toute l’équipe de l’école Beacon Hill Elementary, aux élèves ainsi qu’à la directrice pour cette magnifique levée de fonds au profit de Écureuil Secours.

Nous avons été profondément touchées par votre générosité, votre implication et votre désir d’aider la faune sauvage. Grâce à vous, plusieurs écureuils blessés, orphelins ou en détresse pourront recevoir les soins, la chaleur et l’aide dont ils ont besoin.

Au-delà du montant amassé, ce geste représente quelque chose d’encore plus grand : la compassion, l’empathie et le respect du vivant que vous transmettez aux jeunes.

Voir des élèves se mobiliser pour une cause comme celle-ci nous rappelle qu’il existe encore énormément de bienveillance dans ce monde. Chaque petit geste compte… et les vôtres auront un réel impact sur de nombreuses vies.

Merci également au personnel scolaire et à la direction d’encourager des valeurs aussi importantes auprès des enfants. Vous pouvez être fiers de cette belle initiative.

Today, we were thrilled to welcome members from Écureuil Secours to our school to receive the donation raised through our Grade 5 fundraiser! 🐿️💛

They even brought along a few baby squirrels who will now be treated and cared for thanks to the generosity and efforts of our students and community. A beautiful opportunity for our students to see the real impact of giving back!
