Marc MacDonald () joins us to share his latest novel, Some Sunny Day, the sequel to his debut Between Two Seasons (formerly published as Autumn).

In this new story, MacDonald takes a deeper dive into reader-favourite Mae Seasons, the plucky, foulmouthed senior whose hard-earned wisdom is matched only by her knack for delivering sharptongued insults to anyone who crosses her.

Books will be available for purchase.

πŸ“ΈThe new β€œThe Next Chapter” campaign banner now proudly displayed at the Fonthill Library is a visible reminder that an exciting new chapter is beginning for this important community space.

Our final installment of our eight-part Series, explores the vision behind the Fonthill Library renovation and how the community can help bring the full project to life. While the article series concludes this week, the campaign itself is just getting started.

With Phase One fully funded by the Town of Pelham and more than $1 million already raised toward the community-led Phase Two campaign, momentum continues to build toward creating a more accessible, welcoming, and vibrant library for future generations.

June is National Indigenous History Month.

This month, visit the at Hilary Bald Park (4485 Garden Gate Terrace) in to read WALKING TOGETHER, a beautiful picture book that introduces readers to the concept of Etuaptmumkβ€”or Two-Eyed Seeing, the gift of multiple perspectives in the Mi’kmaw language

The book is written by Elder Dr. Albert D. Marshall & Louise Zimanyi and illustrated by Emily Kewageshig.
