Behind every visit to the Chantal Bérubé Community Youth Centre (CBYC) is a young person choosing connection and community.

Last year, the CBYC saw 3,323 total youth visits. As our community is growing, so is the need for a place to land. With a 64% jump in program attendance, it’s clear that CBYC is more than just a building—it’s a vital hub where our young people feel seen and supported.

This is your tax dollars at work, investing in spaces that support our youth today and strengthen our community for tomorrow.

Keeping Beaumont's neighbourhoods, parks, and natural areas beautiful takes all of us. 🌳

In response to resident concerns about debris blowing into yards and ditches, the City has updated its construction rules to require active sites to use purpose-built waste containers with fixed lids.

🧹Street sweeping will resume in the SW quadrant once roads dry up

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate love, diversity and the strength of an inclusive community. The City of Beaumont proudly celebrates the diversity that strengthens our community and welcomes all who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+.

We are committed to being a safe, inclusive and welcoming place for everyone to work, attend school, raise a family, start a business and live.

Throughout June, we recognize and honour the contributions, experiences and achievements of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, while reflecting on how we can continue to advance equity, inclusion and belonging in Beaumont.

We’re also proud to host the second annual Pride in the Park on June 26 at Centre-Ville Park. Join us for an evening of family-friendly fun, learning and connection as we come together to support and uplift our 2SLGBTQ+ family, friends and neighbours. Everyone is welcome.

Join us in fostering a future where everyone is accepted, respected and celebrated for who they are and who they love. Happy Pride Month, Beaumont! 🌈
