Fire Prevention Week was last week. We usually defer to a date that we can incorporate our school visits. Tomorrow BFD will be spending the morning at Beechy School and the afternoon at the Beechy Colony School.

This year we are concentrating on Lithium battery safety. Cell phones, laptops, tablets, watches are all powered by Lithium batteries. Most rechargeable tools are larger Lithium powered. Drills, saws, trimmers, chainsaws, and now lawnmowers are very common. E Bikes and Scooters are becoming very popular these days

We will post some tips for their safe use

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, also called li-on batteries, are common in rechargeable products and generally safe to use.

Not good for harvest

09/11/2026

Please come out and Fuel Up. We are not pleased about the BBQ being in the middle of harvest. Come in and get dinner for your crew. BBQ will be at the Store not the Farm Supply😡.
